Clear laminated safety glass is a type of glass that combines the benefits of transparency, safety, and security. It consists of two or more layers of clear glass bonded together with a layer of transparent interlayer material, typically made of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA). This interlayer holds the glass layers together, even when the glass is broken, providing several important advantages:
